Truck Driver CE, BDF/WAB – Germany

Job description:
Type of transport: groupage and general cargo without ADR.
Routes: Germany and neighboring countries (Switzerland, Austria, France, Poland).
Driving predominantly at night (approximately 90% of the time).
Return to base once a week or once every two weeks.
Vehicle: modern Mercedes-Benz trucks (maximum 5 years old).
Trailers used: exclusively BDF swap bodies (WAB) and BDF trailers.
Work without a double crew.
Scanning of goods is not required.
Exchange of pallets and loading-unloading is very rare.
Work regime:
Option 2/1: 2 weeks on the road, 1 week at home.
Alternatively: 2 weeks of work with a 66-hour break.
Within the 2/1 system, the tractor and trailer are not assigned to a specific driver. Paid parking is paid by the driver himself.
Dispatching in German, English or Polish.
Contract and vacation:
Permanent contract.
Payment is provided monthly.
Vacation: 20 or 25 days, by agreement.
Fines are applied only in case of violation of the rules by the driver.
Typical day in the job:
In the morning, the driver prepares for the trip, checks the technical condition of the vehicle and unloads the necessary documents.
During the day, he transports shipments between various destinations, follows prescribed routes and schedules.
Working hours:
Working hours are governed by the agreed regime, with the driver alternating periods of active work and rest.
In the case of night driving, the driver adapts to the transport needs and observes the prescribed rest periods.

The company guarantees first-class services in the field of transport and forwarding. Services include partial and complete transports to and from these countries and regions: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Norway and Benelux. All trailers are equipped with coils for the transport of up to 24 tons of (steel) coils.
