Today, we are recruiting for one of our clients based on the outskirts of Nancy, specializing in public works and network intervention, a Heavy Truck Driver – Vacuum Truck Driver (M/F).
YOUR MISSIONS:
– Drive a 36-ton vacuum truck to various construction sites in the region
– Work on sites located within a radius of approximately 60 to 80 km around Dieulouard, with daily return to the depot
– Perform excavation work by suction to uncover and secure buried networks (water, gas, electricity, telecommunications…)
– Use the truck’s remote control to operate suction operations and intervene precisely near sensitive networks
– Actively participate in ground work: site preparation, marking, handling, and cleaning of the intervention area
– Use power tools and construction equipment such as the jackhammer to facilitate network clearing operations
– Ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures related to work near networks
– Ensure routine vehicle maintenance and report any anomalies or maintenance needs
YOUR PROFILE:
You hold a Class C driving license and ideally have your up-to-date FIMO/FCO and driver card.
AIPR is essential for this position.
You enjoy fieldwork and are not afraid to get your hands dirty: driving represents approximately 15% of your activity, with the rest dedicated to interventions and ground work.
Experience in public works, networks, or operating specialized machinery would be a real asset.
Rigorous, autonomous, and respectful of safety instructions, you enjoy working in a team and on various construction sites.
REMUNERATION:
Starting from 13.50€/h depending on profile and experience.
Overtime hours paid at the current rate.
Meal allowances 11.80€/day.
Travel and commuting allowance subject to the BTP (Building and Public Works) collective agreement.
SCHEDULE:
39 hours per week during daytime hours
Monday to Friday
Hours may vary depending on construction sites and operational constraints.
