Your workday
What do you do?
As a CE truck driver at SMD Groep, you drive modern equipment through the Benelux, Germany, and Northern France. You transport various loads – from building materials to raw materials – and ensure that everything arrives safely and on time at its destination.
What does your day look like?
You start in the morning at our site in Veghel, where your truck is ready. After a short briefing, you depart for your first unloading address. Along the way, you maintain contact with planning and report any special circumstances. Between trips, you ensure your documents are in order and your load is properly secured.
Who do you work with?
You work closely with our planners, logistics staff, and fellow drivers. With clients, you are the calling card of SMD Groep – you are presentable, helpful, and proactive.
Who you are
- You have a CE driving license and a valid Code 95
- You have an ADR certificate (or are willing to obtain one)
- You are flexible and willing to start early
- You are presentable and customer-friendly
- You speak Dutch and preferably some German or English
