Our CAP INTER Caen agency is recruiting a Heavy Truck Driver (8×4 public works tipper) (M/F) for its client, a dynamic and experienced company in the field of public works.
Who is our client?
A local, human-sized company specializing in public works, earthworks, roadworks, and various networks (VRD), our client operates mainly in Calvados and its surroundings, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
What will be your role within the company?
Reporting to your operations manager, you will work on earthworks and road development sites in Calvados. On a daily basis, you will perform the following tasks:
-Driving an 8×4 public works tipper truck
-Loading on site
-Unloading at the quarry
-Transport of asphalt
Additional information related to the workstation (conditions, risks, environment):
Outdoor work, on public works sites, exposed to climatic conditions (rain, cold, heat)
Driving an 8×4 heavy goods vehicle on varied terrains (construction site, quarry, roads)
Possible handling operations related to loading/unloading
Strict adherence to site safety instructions and the highway code
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory (helmet, high-visibility vest, safety shoes…)
Increased vigilance during maneuvers on site (coactivity with other machinery and teams)
