In a family business in the food industry, located 18 kms from Niort, we are looking for a heavy truck driver M/F.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for road transport and delivery of goods.
In this role you will:
– Check the loading of goods
– Monitor the transported goods
– Deliver the goods to customers (by shoulder, pallet and in bulk)
– Sign and have transport documents signed
– Listen to the customer and report any anomalies to the logistics manager
– Maintain your truck
The position may involve double-manning, and the hours may vary depending on the activity (departure between 2am and 6am). This position requires a high level of manual handling (carrying bags of flour). The position may require overnight stays of 1 or 2 nights per week.
Work from Monday to Friday.
– Holder of a heavy truck or articulated truck license, your FIMO and your driver card are up to date.
