What will you do?

Through the lateral entry program, you can obtain your C driving license. You’re probably wondering how this works? We will forward your CV and motivation to Nabuurs. If interested, they will then contact you directly to schedule an introductory meeting. If there’s a click and you’ve been able to explain well why you want to become a truck driver, you will be registered for the lateral entry program, where you will start with your C driving license with a subsidy. First, a test day will be scheduled. You will then spend a morning or an afternoon taking a number of tests and doing a short drive. Based on this test, it will become clear whether you have what it takes to become a truck driver. If all of this is positive, you will receive a GO from (STL) and you can start with your theory and lessons. During the training, you can already start working at Nabuurs as a co-driver or in the warehouse. In addition to your work, you will follow a fully comprehensive training program, covering both the practical and theoretical aspects required to obtain your truck driving license. After obtaining the necessary driving license, you will be able to make the step to the position of truck driver within Nabuurs! What will you do?

  • Loading, transporting, and unloading various goods efficiently and safely;
  • Identifying and registering irregularities;
  • Checking for the presence of correct freight documents;
  • Correctly executing procedures and work instructions;
  • You ensure the correct registration and reporting of complaints and damages;
  • Daily inspection of the vehicle for damage;
  • Sorting and clearing packaging materials;
  • Timely delivery to the customer.

    • Where will you work?

    Nabuurs is a family business in logistics services.     What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years in possession of a B driving license;
  • Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week after your training;
  • Physically fit;
  • A flexible, stress-resistant, and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Residing within a 25 km radius of Oosterhout.
