Job Description
AQUILA RH Troyes, an independent recruitment agency specializing in permanent, fixed-term, and temporary recruitment of qualified profiles, is looking for one of its clients an articulated truck driver M/F with ADR for Night Haulage (Troyes / logistics platforms in the Paris region) for a long temporary assignment before being hired on a permanent contract.
Your Missions
As an Articulated Truck Driver, you will play a key role in our client’s logistics organization, by ensuring the transport and delivery of goods with professionalism, safety, and punctuality.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the fluidity and efficiency of our supply chain.
Your missions will revolve around the following areas:
- Responsible Driving and Reliable Deliveries
You will take charge of your vehicle with constant attention, by rigorously applying the rules of the Highway Code as well as internal safety protocols.
Your daily journeys will start from Barberey-Saint-Sulpice and will mainly lead you to two logistics platforms in the Paris region (Wissous and Villeparisis), where you will ensure deliveries within the allotted time.
- Handling and Flow Optimization
You will be in charge of loading and unloading operations at client sites in Île-de-France, ensuring the safety of goods and the efficiency of handling.
- Preventive Maintenance and Vehicle Management
You will ensure regular monitoring of the truck’s condition (checking levels, cleaning, reporting anomalies), thus guaranteeing its reliability and compliance with current standards.
You will be responsible for the use and first-level maintenance of the equipment entrusted to you, by adopting a proactive approach to prevent any malfunction.
Practical Information on the Position
- Workplace : The position is based in Barberey-Saint-Sulpice.
- Hours : Missions are carried out during Night hours, with a departure around 7:00 PM and a return to Barberey between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
- Key Responsibilities : You will guarantee safe driving, rigorous equipment management, and strict adherence to delivery schedules.
Position from Monday evening to Friday evening inclusive.
