ACTUAL Experts Conduite sur Route is recruiting an Articulated Refrigerated Truck Driver for one of its clients based in Saint-Jean-d’Illac. Join a stable activity serving regional large-scale distribution, within an operation that values your profession and your rigor.
Your daily routine on the road
Under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, your days will revolve around clear and well-defined missions:
– Transport & Delivery: Ensure deliveries and collections by semi-trailer to stores in the CUB (Bordeaux Urban Community) and neighboring departments, as quickly as possible.
– Cold Chain Management: Rigorously ensure the maintenance of the cold chain and the proper functioning of the refrigeration unit (positive/negative cold).
– Handling & Safety: Load, unload, and secure merchandise by strictly applying dock procedures.
– Digitalized Monitoring: Perform your pre-departure safety checks and ensure administrative follow-up via PDA (signing of receipts, waybills, pallet slips).
– Regulations: Scrupulously respect European road and social legislation (driving times, rest periods, and safety).
– Team Spirit: Immediately report any incident, malfunction, or unforeseen event encountered during the route to operations.
Job Conditions & Schedule:
– Early hours: Start of service at 05:00 (start early, finish early!).
– Delivery Zone: CUB (Bordeaux Urban Community) and neighboring departments of Gironde (no long-haul, daily return).
– Departure Location: Saint-Jean-d’Illac (33).
Remuneration & ACTUAL Benefits:
– Hourly rate: 12.31 EUR gross / hour + Overtime paid.
– Expenses: Meal allowances included.

The ideal profile for this position
Your essentials (prerequisites):
– You hold a valid CE driving license.
– Your FIMO/FCO goods qualification and your driver card (tachograph) are valid.
Your technical & field skills:
– Refrigeration Expertise: A first successful experience in temperature-controlled transport (positive/negative cold) is highly valued. You know how to monitor and react to alerts from the refrigeration unit.
– Driving & Maneuvers: You perfectly master driving a semi-trailer and docking maneuvers, sometimes tight, in large-scale distribution.
– Digital Fluency: The use of a PDA to validate waybills, sign-offs, and pallet slips is among your acquired skills.
