What will you do?

During your training program, you will learn the driver’s profession step by step in practice. After obtaining your driver’s license, you will start working as a C truck driver in distribution.

Your tasks:

• Start as a co-driver at a transport company in the Amsterdam region
• Supplying catering establishments, sports canteens, and other customers
• Working with an electric box truck
• Loading and unloading goods, including beer kegs and crates of soft drinks
• Extensive customer contact at regular addresses, alternated with key access addresses
• Working from Monday to Saturday
• Shifts between 04:00 and 19:00, on average 4 or 5 days per week
• Many stops per route and relatively few driving hours
• Riding along with a mentor driver after obtaining your driver’s license
• Progressing to a fully independent driver

Job RequirementsWhat do we ask for?

• Minimum 2 years in possession of a Dutch B driver’s license
• Willing to follow a training program for the C(E) driver’s license
• Minimum 32 hours per week available
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Physically fit and willing to perform heavy distribution work
• Customer-friendly and motivated work attitude
• Sense of responsibility and independence
• Experience driving many kilometers in a passenger car is a plus

Terms of Employment

• What do we offer you?
• Gross monthly salary between € 2,893.55 and € 3,129.65 based on 40 hours (TLN scale D1 to D3)
• Overtime after 40 hours 130%, Saturday 150%, Sunday 200%
• Travel allowance € 0.23 per km from 10 km
• Good pension scheme equivalent to TLN Collective Labor Agreement
• 24 vacation days + additional age-related days + 8% holiday pay
• € 0.83 net allowance per hour
