What you will do
As a C/CE truck driver, you are the indispensable link in the distribution of building materials. You start your day with a route briefing and are then responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to customers and branches in Central-West Netherlands. In addition to driving, you load and unload the truck yourself, often with a truck-mounted forklift. You have a lot of contact with customers, work independently, and ensure that everything runs according to the correct procedures. Your workday starts early (around 06:00 AM) and you are usually finished around 03:00 PM. Your base is Waddinxveen, with an occasional trip from Delft. What we ask
- Minimum possession of driving license C or CE with Code 95
- Experience as a truck driver, preferably in distribution or building materials
- Experience with loading, securing, and unloading goods
- Experience with a crane or truck-mounted forklift is a plus
This will be your workplace
This is your workplace: You will be working for a wholesaler in building materials, where teamwork and short lines of communication are central. You will be part of a close-knit and practically oriented team of drivers and logistics employees. Working days are from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Flexibility is possible for a strong profile: a 4-day work week is negotiable. There is an informal atmosphere where everyone rolls up their sleeves and helps each other where needed.
