MESSAGERIES DE L’ATLANTIQUE is recruiting a Heavy Truck Driver / Articulated Truck Driver (M/F) – Short Distance (64)
A subsidiary of the BENITO SAS Group, MESSAGERIES DE L’ATLANTIQUE is a recognized player in transport and palletized freight in the South-West.
As part of strengthening our teams for the summer period, we are looking for:
1 Heavy Truck Driver / Articulated Truck Driver (M/F) (Permit C / CE)
Position based in Mouguerre (64)
Seasonal fixed-term contract from 07/01/2026 to 09/04/2026
With the possibility of long-term employment depending on profile and activity.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure deliveries and collections from our professional and private clients
- Complete a round of approximately twenty delivery points per day
- Load and unload your vehicle
- Ensure proper follow-up of your route and service quality
- Represent the company’s image to our clients
Job conditions:
- No overnight stays
- Daytime hours
- Start at 7:00 AM
- Monday to Friday
- 42 hours per week (182 hours per month)
Desired profile:
- Permit C + CE / FCO and up-to-date driver card
- First experience in freight/courier service would be highly appreciated
- Good knowledge of the Basque Country / Southern Landes sector
- Comfortable with handling equipment (the position involves handling, both during loading and delivery)
- Comfortable with smartphone use
- Basic ADR is a plus
