Job Description
The Manpower Aveyron recruitment agency is recruiting for one of its clients, a recognized player in waste recycling and recovery, a Versatile Articulated Truck Driver (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI) to strengthen its collection teams. Reporting to the operations department, you will be involved in collection rounds for industrial clients and local authorities, in strict compliance with safety rules, internal procedures, and current regulations.
As such, your main missions are:
🔹 Collection of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
– Wire mesh or plastic crates
– Water heaters, washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators
Handling with an electric stacker, a hand truck, and occasionally by hand
Hook-lift truck collection
– MOVI activity
– 26-ton solo vehicle or with trailer
Household waste collection (BOM)
– Internal training provided
Bio-waste collection
– 19T to 24T tail-lift truck
– Use of an electric stacker
– 660 L plastic bins conditioned on pallets
Missions & conditions
Latest generation electric stacker to limit arduousness. Carrying out rounds, reporting anomalies, vehicle maintenance, respecting weighing procedures, data entry, quality customer relations.
Permanent contract (CDI) 35h Hours 6am-3pm (45 min break) Overtime paid 4-day option Mon-Fri (Saturday rare)
€2,079 gross/13 months + bonuses Profit-sharing/participation Mutual insurance, provident fund, Works Council (CSE).
– C and EC (articulated truck) licenses mandatory
– Up-to-date FIMO/FCO
– CACES R485 – category 1 (stacker), essential for bio-waste activity
– Experience appreciated in hook-lift truck, waste collection or articulated truck transport
– Basic mechanical knowledge (first-level maintenance)
– Mastery of essential skills for the position (written comprehension, oral expression, data entry)
