Articulated Truck Driver (m/f)

Your Mission

Adecco is recruiting for its client, the L’Union des Artisans du Bois (UAB) Cooperative, a recognized player in the distribution of wood materials, their future Articulated Truck Driver (m/f) on a permanent contract in La Ferrière.
Your mission: to deliver to our members in the Vendée sector and neighboring departments.
In compliance with the cooperative’s values and with a constant concern for optimizing the quality of services offered to members, you will be a key player within the logistics team to which you will be attached. More specifically, your missions will be as follows:

• Secure materials using the means at your disposal to ensure the safety of the load during transit,
• Deliver orders and unload merchandise at members’ premises or on construction sites,
• Have transport and traceability documents signed,
• Ensure the routine maintenance of your vehicle,
• Guarantee product safety and quality standards.

Information that will interest you:

• Position from Monday to Friday, with one week out of two on 4 days – no overnight stays (departure in the morning between 6 am and 6:30 am with a return in the afternoon to UAB)
• The vehicle fleet is recent, trucks are equipped with air conditioning and automatic transmission.
• Remuneration according to profile including a 13th month, a profit-sharing scheme, benefits related to the CSE (Works Council), flat-rate meal allowance, and professional phone
• Internal training program upon taking up the position

Your Profile

You have at least 2 years of experience driving articulated trucks.
You enjoy driving a technical unit requiring maneuvers on construction sites.
You hold a valid Category C, CE driving license, FIMO/FCO, and driver card.
You know how to apply hygiene and safety rules with caution.
Your knowledge of finishing work building products and possession of your CACES R490 Crane Operator Certificate (remote control option) and CACES R489 categories 1, 3 and 5 will be additional assets.
You are methodical, meticulous, cautious, and punctual.
Endowed with good interpersonal skills and a positive mindset, you are keen to forge privileged links with members to guarantee their satisfaction with the expected service.
