Articulated Truck Driver (m/f)

Job Description

Adecco is recruiting for its client, the Coopérative L’Union des Artisans du Bois (UAB), a recognized player in the distribution of wood materials, their future Articulated Truck Driver (m/f) on a permanent contract in La Ferrière.

Your mission: to carry out deliveries to our members in the Vendée region and neighboring departments.

In compliance with the cooperative’s values and with the constant concern to optimize the quality of services offered to members, you will be a key player within the logistics team to which you will be attached.

More specifically, your missions will be as follows:

• Secure the materials using the means at your disposal in order to secure the load during transport,
• Deliver orders and unload the goods at members’ premises or on construction sites,
• Have transport and traceability documents signed,
• Ensure the routine maintenance of your vehicle,
• Guarantee the safety and quality standards of the products.

Information that will interest you:

• Position from Monday to Friday, with one week out of two on 4 days – without overnight stays (departure in the morning between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. with a return in the afternoon to the UAB)
• The vehicle fleet is recent, the trucks are equipped with air conditioning and automatic transmission.
• Remuneration according to profile including a 13th month, a profit-sharing scheme, benefits related to the CSE, compensation for meals at a flat rate and professional telephone
• Internal training course upon taking office
