As part of the development of our partners (carriers, logistics providers, industrial and distribution companies), we are recruiting Heavy/Articulated Truck Drivers (M/F) for assignments in Lyon and its metropolitan area.
As a Heavy/Articulated Truck Driver, you are a key player in the logistics chain. You ensure the transport of goods in compliance with deadlines, safety rules and regulations in force.
Your main missions
1. Driving and transport
Ensure the transport of goods by heavy truck (PL) or articulated truck (SPL)
Carry out local, regional or national deliveries according to the assignments
Adapt your driving according to traffic conditions and the type of load
Respect the routes and delivery times
2. Loading and unloading
Participate in loading and unloading operations (handling possible)
Verify the conformity of the load (distribution, securing, safety)
Use appropriate equipment (tailgate, pallet truck, forklift depending on qualifications)
3. Administrative management
Complete transport documents (waybill, delivery notes, CMR, etc.)
Ensure the monitoring of routes and report information to the operations department
Use on-board tools (GPS, PDA, tracking software)
4. Vehicle maintenance
Perform safety checks before and after each trip
Ensure the vehicle is in good condition and report any anomalies
Maintain the cleanliness of the truck
5. Compliance with regulations
Apply road transport regulations (driving and rest times)
Respect road safety instructions and internal rules of customers
Adopt eco-responsible driving
