Job Description
Manpower CARCASSONNE is looking for a Heavy Truck Driver (M/F) for its client, a major player in transport and logistics, specializing in express delivery and pallet delivery in a national and European network. Missions:
? Main missions
– Ensure the delivery and collection of goods (pallets, express delivery).
– Prepare and organize their route according to operating instructions.
– Load and unload the vehicle (using pallet truck/tailgate).
– Verify the conformity of goods and transport documents.
– Respect transport regulations, safety rules and GEODIS procedures.
– Maintain the vehicle and report any anomalies.
Profile
🧾 Desired profile
– Valid Permit C (Heavy Goods Vehicle).
– Up-to-date FIMO/FCO.
– Valid driver card.
– Previous experience in express delivery transport appreciated.
– Rigor, customer service skills, punctuality.
Working conditions
– Generally daytime hours (start of work in the morning).
– Local or regional routes, daily return to the agency.
– Work from Monday to Friday (possibly Saturday depending on activity).
