What you will do
As a heavy truck driver in Amsterdam, you’ll have a super varied job! You ensure that construction materials arrive safely and on time at our customers’ locations. You start your workday at the distribution center, load your truck with the help of the logistics team, and then drive your route through the region. No trips throughout the Netherlands, but always in the vicinity – so no hotel stays and simply home in the evenings. On-site, you unload the goods, sometimes at a construction site, sometimes at a warehouse. You help customers with their delivery and are the point of contact for questions. In between, you’ll have time for a chat with the customer; your social side will come in handy here. You keep your administration simple on your digital device. What we ask for
- You have at least a vmbo or mbo qualification
- You possess a CE driving license and Code 95
- You have at least 1 year of experience as a heavy truck driver
- You know how to load and unload safely and efficiently
- You can work with a digital waybill
