Job Description:
As an open trailer driver, you are responsible for transporting various goods with an open trailer. You transport, among other things, concrete, steel, prefabricated materials, and agricultural machinery for the agricultural sector, including wide load transports. Activities:
- Transporting concrete, steel, prefabricated materials, and agricultural machinery with an open trailer.
- Ensuring correct stowage and securing of the cargo.
- Advising on proper cargo securing for goods with unusual dimensions.
- Identifying irregularities regarding cargo, equipment, waiting, loading, and unloading times, and communicating these promptly with the contact person in the office.
- Maintaining customer contacts and providing a high level of service and customer friendliness.
- Complying with applicable safety regulations and transport rules.
- Handling equipment carefully and contributing to a professional image of the company.
Job Requirements:
As a CE truck driver, it is important that you:
- Possess a valid CE driving license, Code 95, and a driver’s card.
- Have a good command of the Dutch language.
- Are willing to spend an average of two nights a week away from home.
- Live within a 35-kilometer radius of Heerenveen.
- Enjoy driving long distances, both domestically and internationally.
Employment Conditions:

- A gross monthly salary of up to € 5,000, including overtime;
- Travel allowance of € 0.23 cents per kilometer;
