Job Description
Hit the road as a truck driver and make every workday a great success. At a leading distributor in the Meppel region, you’ll have a pleasant and stable 40-hour work week. This means you’ll always be home on time in the evening, relaxing on the couch. From a state-of-the-art vehicle, you’ll deliver fresh supplies daily to satisfied customers across the country. Expect an excellent gross salary between €16.80 and €20.80 per hour, and start building your pension immediately!

Who are you
When you arrive, customers are always happy. As a truck driver, you also value good customer relationships. Furthermore, you have;
- Driving license C with Code 95 and a driver’s card;
- Proficiency in the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
- Physically able to load and unload
What you will do
The alarm goes off early, but at the Meppel branch, a warm cup of coffee and plenty of camaraderie with colleagues await you. Once the truck is fully loaded, you’ll securely close the doors and hit the road. As a truck driver, you’ll drive a modern truck past various gas stations and convenience stores to neatly deliver fresh supplies. It’s active work, as you’ll skillfully roll the well-filled containers inside at customer locations. At the stores, as a truck driver, you’re always a welcome guest and can easily strike up a conversation. Thanks to the pleasant variety between physical work and driving, the hours truly fly by. At the end of the route, you’ll park the vehicle with a smile and be home wonderfully on time in the afternoon.
Where you will work
You will work for the absolute market leader in the ‘on-the-go’ logistics sector. When people grab a fresh sandwich or snack at a gas station while on the go, there’s a very high chance it just came from your truck. As a truck driver, you truly are the indispensable calling card of this massive operation. Because the world of quick bites is always on the move, you’ll also get behind the wheel on Saturdays every other week.
