As a Semi-trailer Dump Truck Driver with CACES R490 Auxiliary Crane certification M/F, the mission consists of ensuring the transport and delivery of construction materials to a clientele of professionals and individuals, on construction sites or in depots, in compliance with safety rules, road regulations, and the company’s internal procedures.
On a daily basis, the role covers the preparation and execution of truck delivery rounds requiring C and CE licenses, including reviewing transport orders, organizing loading, and optimizing routes. The position involves driving a dump truck and operating an auxiliary crane with CACES 490 certification for loading and unloading construction materials such as wood, structural materials, and insulation, ensuring the stability of loads and the safety of people and property in the area. At each delivery point, the role includes verifying the conformity of goods, repositioning and securing products, as well as performing maneuvers, sometimes in confined environments on construction sites.
The role also includes performing daily checks of the vehicle and equipment (crane, dump body, safety devices), reporting anomalies, performing routine first-level maintenance, and keeping the truck clean and operational. The role directly contributes to customer satisfaction by respecting schedules, ensuring the quality of material delivery on site, and maintaining proper transport and delivery documents. In close liaison with the depot, operations, and construction site teams, the mission contributes to the smooth progress of work, the continuous supply of construction sites, and the professional image of the company in the field.
