Job Description:
As a heavy truck driver (C), you drive daily through the Alkmaar region and its surroundings. You visit various customers to collect waste streams with your refuse collection vehicle (compactor truck). This can involve residual waste from businesses and private individuals. Every contact with a customer is an opportunity to leave a good impression.
The routes are single-day and national. At the end of your workday, you return to the depot in Alkmaar. There, you ensure that the load is safely deposited. You work closely with colleagues from the weighbridge, acceptance personnel, and crane and shovel operators. Together, you ensure that the process runs smoothly. After submitting the necessary documents and a final check of your vehicle, your workday is over. In this way, you contribute to a cleaner living environment.
Job Requirements:

- You possess a valid C driving license and the mandatory Code 95.
- You have a valid digital driver’s card.
- You are proficient in the Dutch language to communicate effectively with customers.
- You are physically fit and have the right attitude to get started.
- You are willing to work on weekends in consultation.
Employment Conditions:
For your commitment, you can expect the following employment conditions:
- A gross salary between €2,900 and €3,600 per month, depending on your experience.
- Pension accrual in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Professional Goods Transport.
- 24 vacation days plus 3 extra leave days per year.
- Your salary is always paid on time, by the 20th of the month at the latest.
- Training opportunities, such as obtaining your CE driving license or ADR certificates, will be paid for by us.
- You will receive work clothing and safety shoes to work comfortably and safely.
