1. Driving the collection truck
Drive a BOM truck (household waste collection truck) while respecting the highway code and safety rules.
Perform maneuvers in urban or rural environments (narrow streets, pedestrian zones, frequent stops).
Ensure coupling, pre-departure checks, and daily vehicle inspections.
2. Waste collection
Exit the vehicle to participate in collection when necessary.
Handle bins, containers, or bags according to community or client instructions.
Operate the container lift and monitor the proper functioning of the compactor.
3. Safety and prevention
Ensure the safety of the team (waste collectors, pedestrians, road users).
Strictly adhere to collection procedures and traffic areas.
Report any anomaly: non-compliant bin, technical incident, danger on public roads.
4. Administrative and technical follow-up
Fill out tour documents or onboard digital tools.
Report information to the team leader or operations manager.
Report breakdowns, defects, or maintenance needs for the truck.
