Build your career plan with Mauffrey : Train in theory at Mauffrey Academy, put it into practice in one of our subsidiaries and, at the end of your apprenticeship, sign a permanent contract (CDI) to continue the Mauffrey adventure !
During training at the Academy, you will learn to :
- Ensure safety and compliance checks before, during, and after the transport of goods
- Drive and maneuver safely, ecologically, and economically, a rigid heavy goods vehicle with a maximum permissible mass exceeding 3.5 tons and transport goods
- Load, transport, and deliver goods
- Prepare the vehicle for loading or unloading, and load/unload the vehicle
- Prevent risks, apply current social regulations, and react in case of an incident or accident, both when stationary and in traffic
- Detect, describe vehicle malfunctions, and perform minor interventions
- Couple and uncouple an articulated vehicle or a combination of vehicles
The training is thus divided into 2 distinct parts :
- Obtaining the professional title of rigid truck driver, allowing you to get the Category C license, the Compulsory Initial Minimum Training (FIMO) and to complete the ADR training (434 hours, over 3 months)
- Then, obtaining the professional title of all-vehicle driver, allowing you to get the Category CE driving license (350 hours, over 2 months)
During your apprenticeship in your assigned subsidiary, you will be able to :
- Put into practice the concepts acquired during academic training ;
- Carry out transport operations while being accompanied by a team of professionals
Practical arrangements :
Your work-study training will take place over 1 year, as follows :
- The first 5 months (or the first 2 months if only obtaining the professional title for all vehicles) at Mauffrey Academy in Eloyes (Vosges
– 88) - The following 7 months in a subsidiary*

The candidate must be able to manage home-to-site commutes compatible with the job’s hours and constraints.
The Mauffrey Academy Campus offers accommodation (at very advantageous rates) to welcome you during your training period and you can enjoy its various on-site services (catering, gym, etc.).

Contract: APPRENTICESHIP
Contract duration: 12 months
- Be at least 18 years old,
- Proficiency in French – minimum A2 level,
- You are attracted to the world of transport,
- Hold a B driving license,
- If you are applying only for the professional title of all-vehicle driver, you must already hold a C license
