ACTUAL Experts Conduite sur Route is recruiting a Heavy Truck Driver with Auxiliary Crane for one of its clients specializing in the building and public works sector. Based in Villenave d’Ornon, you will work on various construction sites throughout the Bordeaux region.
Your daily routine: Precision, technique, and safety. At the heart of construction site activity, your missions perfectly combine driving and high technicality:
– Driving & Delivery: Drive your heavy goods vehicle to transport equipment and materials to various construction sites in the Bordeaux region.
– Precision Maneuvering: Operate the auxiliary crane to perform lifting, transfer, and unloading operations of materials with skill and precision.
– Safety Expertise: Ensure absolute safety during handling, slinging, and vehicle stabilization phases on the construction site.
– Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance of the truck and auxiliary crane (pre-departure regulatory checks, cleanliness, reporting anomalies).
– Regulations: Strictly adhere to safety instructions specific to each construction site and road traffic regulations.

– Job start: Villenave d’Ornon (33).
– Activity sector: Construction sites in the Bordeaux region (no long-haul, daily return).
– Contract: Long-term temporary assignment.

The ideal profile for this position
Your essentials (prerequisites):
– You hold a valid Class C driving license.
– Your Goods Driver Qualification Card (FIMO/FCO) and your driver card are valid.
– Essential: You hold a valid CACES R490 (Loading Crane / Auxiliary Crane) certification, ideally with remote control proficiency.
Your technical & field skills:
– Construction site experience: A first successful experience in material delivery (construction, trade, networks) is highly desired. You know how to operate on sometimes difficult or confined access terrains.
– Lifting mastery: Calculating load trajectories, secure slinging, and load charts hold no secrets for you.
– Sense of stabilization: You know how to analyze the ground conditions to safely position your outriggers before each maneuver.
Your professional qualities:
– Safety Culture: Rigorous and vigilant, you apply zero tolerance regarding the wearing of PPE (helmet, safety shoes, vest) and safety perimeters around the truck.
– Precision & Composure: Handling heavy loads near ground teams or power lines requires great calm and maximum concentration.
– Interpersonal skills: You work in direct coordination with site managers and ground teams; your communication skills and team spirit are essential.
