Join our team as an Environment Heavy Truck Driver! We are looking for an experienced driver to exclusively operate a 19-ton truck with a tailgate (manual gearbox). Your mission: to ensure strategic collections of waste (WEEE, biowaste, and hazardous waste) in the Greater South-West region.
Your Playing Field & Rhythm:
– Geographical sector: Departments 16, 17, 24, 33, 40, 47 (and occasionally 85).
– Comfortable hours: Start of shift from 5 am, return in early/mid-afternoon. Enjoy your free late afternoons!
– Please note: overnight stays are to be expected.
Your Daily Routine on the Road:
– No routine, dynamic and perfectly organized days as a rigid truck driver:
– Morning: Departure on tour according to the optimized itinerary provided the day before.
– The process: Rigorous collection of different types of waste. If necessary, you will perform rotations (return to site to empty/reload and depart again).
– End of day: Emptying the 19T truck, preparing equipment for the next day, and debriefing with operations.
– The plus that makes the difference: Constant and fluid communication with the team to ensure maximum responsiveness to our clients.
Attractive Remuneration & Benefits: We value your work and your commitment:
– Hourly rate: 12.82 EUR / hour
– Meal expenses: 1 meal allowance of 16.20 EUR per worked day
– Attendance bonus: 50 EUR / month
– Safety Bonus: 50 EUR (no accidents and compliance with CSR)

The ideal profile for this position:
Your essentials (prerequisites):
– You hold a valid Class C driving license (Position exclusively for Heavy Goods Vehicles / Rigid Truck).
– Your FIMO/FCO and your driver card (tachograph) are valid.
– Mandatory: You possess basic ADR certification (dangerous goods).
Your technical skills:
– You perfectly master driving a 19-ton truck with a manual gearbox.
– The use of a tailgate and the handling of material handling equipment hold no secrets for you.
– Previous experience in goods transport or waste collection is a strong asset.
Your professional qualities:
– Sense of responsibility & Safety: Handling waste (sometimes hazardous) requires absolute rigor and strict adherence to instructions.
– Autonomy & Initiative: Capable of managing your regional routes autonomously while remaining connected with operations.
– Excellent interpersonal skills: You represent the company during collections and maintain good client contact.
