Job Description:

During the heavy truck driver training at Wolfram Chain, you will be guided from start to finish. You start with a driving and aptitude test, followed by the mandatory medical examination. The driving instructor assesses your current skills and feel for driving a truck, after which you will receive advice on the required number of driving lessons.

Meanwhile, you will work day shifts as a logistics employee in Kampen. You will do this while preparing for your theory exams and taking practical lessons. As soon as you obtain your C driving license, you can immediately start as a heavy truck driver. At the same time, you will start with the lessons for your CE driving license.

In the warehouse in Kampen, you will process incoming and outgoing goods flows. You will assist with loading and unloading materials, for example, for events. Managing inventory and contributing ideas for better warehouse processes are part of the job. You will prepare orders for transport to various destinations. You will assist with light administrative tasks, such as maintaining inventory information. You will contribute to the most efficient and sustainable logistics process possible. The routes you will eventually drive are one-day and national.

Job Requirements:

• You are in possession of a B driving license and have your own transport.
• You have completed an MBO education at level 2 or higher.
• You are willing to start as a warehouse employee during your driver training.
• You are in good physical condition and can handle the work.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.

Employment Conditions:

For your commitment, you can expect the following employment conditions:

• Your starting salary is between € 2,500 and € 2,700 per month, with the possibility to quickly grow to € 3,000 once you have your driving license.
• You get the opportunity to obtain your C and CE driving licenses free of charge through a fully guided program.
• You have job security as a heavy truck driver at a reputable company.
• You accrue pension according to the applicable regulations.
