Opis Stanowiska
Manpower Rodez is recruiting, for a local company renowned for its human values and the quality of its equipment, a Heavy Truck Driver (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI) in Rodez, due to a retirement.
You will join a human-sized structure, attentive to the quality of life at work, seeking an autonomous, committed driver who takes care of their equipment, and wishes to commit for the long term. Reporting to a very present and attentive site manager, you will be in daily contact with the depot teams and operate independently:
– Driving a 26-ton truck (Category C license)
– Loading goods at the depot
– Deliveries to customers (sometimes accessing more or less difficult terrain)
– Local and regional routes: Aveyron, Lozère (Mende), Lot?
– Unloading goods at customers’ premises (tail lift, electric pallet truck)
– Securing and lashing the load
– Verification and management of transport documents
– Management of signed delivery notes
– Planning your routes
– Adherence to road safety, driving, and rest regulations
– Use of the tachograph
– Daily check of the vehicle’s condition before departure
– Routine maintenance of the truck (fluid levels, cleanliness, reporting anomalies)
– Expected autonomy: liaison with the garage, vehicle monitoring
– Reporting incidents to operations / the site manager
– Representing the company’s image to customers
– Partial manual handling
– Adapting driving to weather conditions
Compensation & benefits:
– Salary starting from €12.50 gross/hour, negotiable based on profile, 35 hours over 5 days, 13th month salary.
– Day shifts (start time 7:30 AM in Onet-le-Château), no night work or overnight stays.

– Mandatory Category C driving license
– Valid FIMO + up-to-date FCO
– Valid driver card
– CACES 489 category 3 required
