Heavy Truck Driver H/F – Castres

Reporting to the Agency Manager or the regional logistics unit, you will be responsible for the transport and handling of equipment at our customers’ sites, in compliance with deadlines, quality of service and safety standards.

Your main missions will be:

• Ensuring the driving and monitoring of routes after acknowledging the customer’s requests written on the rental agreement and after verifying the conformity of the equipment allocated to the service,
• Loading and securing the equipment on the vehicle according to existing safety rules and standards, ensuring the good condition of the truck and accessories (straps, chains, etc.),
• Delivering the equipment to the location requested by the customer, performing the handover if necessary, ensuring a professional and commercial attitude,
• Ensuring the unloading and/or recovery of equipment on site in compliance with current safety regulations (Wearing PPE, marking if necessary/unstrapping rules/Use of Auxiliary Crane, etc.),

Reporting to your superiors any feedback from the customer or problems encountered during the route.
