ACTUAL Experts Conduite sur Route is recruiting a refrigerated heavy truck driver for one of its clients based in Saint-Jean-d’Illac. If you appreciate a job well done, client contact, and structured days, you are exactly in the right place!
Your daily routine on the road: Under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, your days will revolve around clear missions, with no unpleasant surprises:
– Transport & Delivery: Ensure deliveries and collections from stores and clients in the CUB (Bordeaux Urban Community) and neighboring departments of Gironde, as quickly as possible.
– Handling & Safety: Safely check, load, and unload your vehicle by performing the necessary handling tasks.
– Digitalized Tracking: Participate in the administrative tracking of your routes by using a PDA to get receipts, waybills, and pallet slips signed.
– Regulations: Strictly adhere to road and social legislation (driving/rest times) and current standards.
– Communication: Immediately report any malfunction or anomaly encountered on the road to operations.
Job Conditions & Schedule:
– Early hours: Start of service at 05:00 AM (start early, finish early!).
– Delivery area: CUB (Bordeaux Urban Community) and neighboring departments of Gironde.
– Departure location: Saint-Jean-d’Illac (33).

The ideal profile for this position
Your essentials (prerequisites):
– You hold a valid Class C driving license (Heavy Goods Vehicle / Rigid Truck position).
– Your FIMO/FCO (Mandatory Initial/Continuing Training) for goods transport and your driver card (tachograph) are valid.
Your technical & practical skills:
– Distribution expertise: A first successful experience in express delivery or regional multi-drop distribution is a strong asset.
– Handling & Safety: You master loading/unloading operations and the safe use of handling equipment.
– Digital proficiency: You are comfortable using a PDA for managing your route sheets and validating signatures.
Your professional qualities:
– Early bird: Starting work at 05:00 AM doesn’t scare you; you are dynamic and operational from the start of the day.
– Rigor & Punctuality: Adhering to mission orders, store delivery schedules, and social regulations comes naturally to you.
