As a heavy truck driver for regional transport of gas cylinders, the mission consists of ensuring the daily safe and punctual delivery of products to a network of points of sale, while guaranteeing the correct application of handling and traceability procedures.
On a daily basis, the role covers the organization and execution of regional routes, including the delivery to 10 to 14 clients per day, mainly specialized points of sale or distributors. The position involves driving a heavy goods vehicle, route management, strict adherence to road regulations, safety rules related to the transport of dangerous goods, and work start times, with activity starting from 4:30 AM. The mission includes loading and unloading the truck, carrying and handling 7 categories of full gas cylinders, as well as the systematic collection of empty or defective cylinders from customers.
The role directly contributes to the continuity of supply for the distribution network, the satisfaction of delivered customers, and the company’s image of reliability. It also involves checking the quantities delivered and collected, verifying the apparent condition of the cylinders, the completeness of transport documents and delivery notes, as well as reporting any operational or safety anomaly in order to guarantee a service compliant with the company’s quality and safety requirements.
