The Aquila RH Langon team is recruiting, as part of a sustainable activity reinforcement, an Articulated Truck Driver (M/F) for a mission in long-term temporary work, with a possibility of hiring at the end.
This position is to be filled from next week, with a period of training in pairs alongside an experienced driver for a gradual familiarization with the routes.

Your missions
🚛 Drive an articulated truck (flatbed semi-trailer and tautliner) on regional or greater regional routes.
📦 Ensure the transport of metallurgical products: steel bars, sheets, metal profiles… requiring care and rigor in handling.
🛠️ Carry out the strapping and wedging of the goods, independently, in compliance with safety rules and transport regulations.
📍 Carry out deliveries without overnight stays (return to the depot each evening), within a regional perimeter.
🤝 Maintain a professional relationship with customers during deliveries and ensure exemplary behavior on the road.
🧾 Manage transport documents (waybills, delivery notes…).
🧽 Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the vehicle entrusted.
Pre-requisites
- ✅ Hold a valid CE (SPL) license.
- 📄 Have your FIMO or FCO goods up to date, as well as the driver card.
- 🧠 Have a good knowledge of road transport regulations, driving and rest times.
- 🧰 Master the techniques of strapping, wedging and secure handling of long and heavy goods.
- 🧭 Know how to read a loading plan or a delivery slip.
- 🛠️ Be able to perform basic mechanical tasks (visual checks, levels…).
An experience in the transport of metallurgical, construction site or materials products is highly appreciated.

You have good interpersonal skills, you know how to represent the company to customers with professionalism.
You like the organized routine of daytime work without overnight stays.
You are reliable, respectful of equipment, safety instructions and deadlines.
A good physical condition is necessary (handling to be expected on certain deliveries).
