For a company in Overdinkel, we are looking for a reliable truck driver who is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of various home and seasonal items.
As a truck driver, you ensure that goods arrive on time and in good condition at the correct destination. You drive various routes within the Netherlands and are the company’s calling card to customers and suppliers.
Your duties include:
- Transporting flowers, plants, home decoration, and seasonal products;
- Loading, unloading, and carefully checking the freight;
- Checking transport documents and correctly processing administration;
- Performing daily checks on the truck, such as tires, lighting, and fluids;
- Reporting any irregularities on the road and maintaining contact with planning;
- Supporting colleagues in other departments when requested by planning. No workday is the same.
You regularly start in the early morning, which often means you are finished by the end of the afternoon.
Job Requirements
- You are in possession of a valid CE driving license and Code 95;
- You have experience as a truck driver or feel comfortable behind the wheel of a truck;
- You speak and write Dutch well;
- Knowledge of the German language is a plus;
- You are independent, responsible, and customer-oriented.
Employment Conditions
- A gross monthly salary starting from €2,700, depending on your experience;
- Pension accrual from your first workday;
- 25 vacation days and 8% holiday pay;
- Travel allowance from 10 kilometers one way;
