What will you be doing?
- In the role of hooklift driver, you are responsible for the transport of various containers with different contents.
- You start the day between 06:00 and 07:00
- You load containers with the hooklift
- You deliver all containers and ensure a safe working environment
- You drive longer routes to customers in the region
- You exchange full and empty containers
You work from Monday to Friday and sometimes on Saturday. There is always the possibility to work overtime or switch to another discipline. In addition, there is room to work part-time.
What do you bring?
- A CE driving license with a valid code 95 and a driver’s card
- Experience with a hooklift is a plus
- Driving experience with a rotating chassis, drawbar trailer, or turntable trailer is useful, but we can also teach you!
- Love for the driving profession and the willingness to learn
- You are physically fit and have no difficulty with physical work
Team and location:
Panningen is our Limburg branch, slightly smaller than in Eindhoven but no less powerful. Here we serve our customers mainly in the south of the country. We have a small sorting and transshipment facility here, also with cranes and loaders. You often sit together in the canteen here, and on Fridays, fries are usually eaten.
From here you drive a number of national routes and sometimes also to Belgium and Germany. The hooklift team is the largest we have within Van Happen Containers. From Eindhoven, all ‘hooklift drivers’ are led by Pascal (team leader) and his team. They ensure the most optimal and pleasant routes every day.
