We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Articulated Truck Driver to join our team. If you have a valid SPL license, excellent knowledge of driving rules, and delivery experience, we want to meet you! Apply now to join our team and contribute to our success in the delivery field!
Your missions
- Prepare and check your vehicle before departure
- Load and unload goods safely
- Comply with road regulations
- Plan the most appropriate route based on deadlines and delivery constraints
- Complete administrative documents: delivery notes, invoices, customs formalities, keep the logbook up to date
- Ensure truck maintenance: oil change, lubrication, and arrange for vehicle condition checks (servicing, technical inspection)
- Report any operational or compliance failures of the vehicle
- Monitor unloading
- Analyze documents for compliance
- Track your activity
- Take emergency measures in case of an incident or accident
Prerequisites
- Being in daily contact with the customers he serves, the Articulated Truck Driver must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, especially when verifying a receipt with a dissatisfied customer.
- The Articulated Truck Driver is a representative of the company that employs him to the customer he delivers to. He must therefore be conscientious and scrupulously look after the goods he delivers, as well as their condition.
- The Articulated Truck Driver must be organized and have a perfect knowledge of the road environment and its constraints. Indeed, it is he who plans his itinerary, in order to respect the schedules imposed by his hierarchy.
- Finally, a perfect knowledge of the highway code and an excellent sense of direction are essential, even if today GPS greatly assists in the practice of the profession.
