The Company

The ASLG company, based in Quimper, was formed from the merger of Sodial-Legall (acquired in 2014) and Askel (acquired in 2016). It distributes fresh, dry, and frozen products for out-of-home catering (commercial, collective catering) and supermarkets.
Highlighting local producers, the company has been part of the “Produit en Bretagne” association since 2017 and has a meat cutting workshop in Quimper.

The company is also certified for most of its products (Label Rouge, AB, BBC).

Job Description

As part of its development, our transport department is recruiting a heavy truck delivery driver to ensure the delivery of our products to our professional clientele.

Your main missions:

  • Load the vehicle respecting the tour plan and transport instructions

  • Ensure deliveries to customers according to the roadmap, respecting delivery times and schedules

  • Ensure the quality of transported products is maintained (respect for the quality chain, handling, transport conditions)

  • Check the conformity of goods upon delivery (quantity, condition, references)

  • Apply safety rules, as well as quality system procedures and requirements

  • Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle provided

  • Represent the company to customers with professionalism and a sense of service

Location: Quimper
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract from April to end of September
Full-time

Hours: 3 AM to 12 PM, Tuesday to Saturday

Valid CE or C driving license + up-to-date FIMO/FCO

Experience in goods transport, ideally in food, is a plus

  • Service-oriented, punctual, and autonomous

  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
