At Sluyter, we offer you the opportunity to become a truck driver through our career changer program. No experience needed!
What is the career changer program?
Retraining to become a truck driver at Sluyter Logistics means that you will be trained as a skilled truck driver at Sluyter through the career changer program of the STL (Sector Institute for Transport and Logistics).
We will teach you in practice what the profession of truck driver entails. You will also have the opportunity to obtain your truck driving license C and possibly CE. Experience in the sector is not necessary; we will ensure that you learn everything you need to know through our program.
What do we ask of you?
It is important that you fit well into the team and possess the right qualifications. Therefore, we ask for the following:
- Minimum 1 year of driving license B
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
- You live in the Netherlands;
- You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality;
- You have a customer-oriented attitude;
- You work accurately, are solution-oriented and proactive;
- You are a go-getter and willing to go the extra mile if necessary;
- Submitting a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is part of the application procedure. We will reimburse the costs you incur for the application.
What do we offer?
We offer a pleasant and informal working atmosphere in a friendly and motivated team. The work you perform takes place between +/- 05:00 and 22:00 in a rotating schedule. This position naturally comes with a competitive salary and good secondary employment conditions in accordance with our collective labor agreement.
