Job Description
Your main mission will be to drive a heavy truck, if possible with an auxiliary crane. You will be responsible for your truck and you will have to:
1. Driving specialized vehicles

Drive heavy trucks: tipper, tanker, hook lift, machine carrier, etc.

Transport equipment, construction site materials (earth, rubble, sand, gravel…), or machinery.

Maneuver on sometimes cramped construction sites or on difficult terrain.
2. Loading and unloading

Load/unload manually or with equipment (auxiliary crane, lifting arm).

Ensure the correct distribution of loads to comply with safety standards.

Check the wedging and securing of the equipment.
3. Vehicle maintenance

Carry out basic checks before departure (levels, tires, lights, brakes…).

Clean and maintain the truck regularly.

Report mechanical or technical anomalies.
4. Compliance with regulations
-
Respect traffic rules, driving and rest times.

Keep transport documents and logbook up to date.
5. Work on site (civil engineering driver)
-
Work closely with field teams (earthmovers, machine operators…).
-
Sometimes participate in simple construction site tasks outside of driving.

Adapt driving to the specific conditions of a construction site (slope, mud, machinery…).
