As a heavy truck driver for a garbage truck, the mission consists of ensuring the daily collection of household and similar waste in a defined sector, guaranteeing the continuity of public service and adherence to planned routes and schedules. The role involves precise and safe driving in urban centers, with very frequent stops, in environments that are sometimes narrow and heavily trafficked. On a daily basis, the position includes preparing the truck before the round (visual inspection, fluid levels, safety equipment), driving the collection vehicle according to the established schedule, making frequent stops as close as possible to collection points, as well as performing the necessary maneuvers to access streets and drop-off zones.<\/p>\n
The mission also covers the use and monitoring of the garbage truck’s equipment (container lifters, compaction, signaling), close cooperation with the waste collectors’ team to ensure a regular and safe collection pace, as well as adherence to sorting instructions, road safety, and urban cleanliness.
