Imagine this: you step into your own dedicated truck in the morning – yes, you read that right, no every-day-a-different-vehicle hassle – and you start your journey towards a wine farmer in France or an agricultural cooperative in Germany. You drive a tractor-trailer or a combination vehicle, whatever you prefer, fully loaded with agricultural products.
And no, you usually don’t have to do the heavy lifting yourself – loading and unloading is usually done for you, but very occasionally you might lend a hand (quite sporty, right?). Return trip? We’ll take care of that too, usually back towards the Netherlands. And then after five days of driving: two days off to refuel. Literally and figuratively.
Your tasks in a nutshell:
– Cruising through the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France – and for a good reason.
– Transporting agricultural cargo and occasionally helping with loading or unloading (with assistance).
– Taking return loads back to the Netherlands.
– Maintaining contact with planning – and most importantly: charting your own course.
– Working carefully, because you’re driving serious cargo.<\/p>\n
Job requirements:
We are looking for a driver who:
– Enjoys international driving and loves variety (every day the same is so 2022).
– Doesn’t mind being away from home for five days (the bed in your cabin is surprisingly comfortable, right?)
– Can work independently, but is also sociable at the coffee machine.
– Is customer-friendly, meticulous, and collegial (you drive solo, but we are a team).
