Our client specializes in the transformation and shaping of sheet metal and is looking for a Heavy\/Articulated Truck Driver (F\/M) to strengthen their team. In this Heavy Truck Driver position, your main tasks will be as follows:
– Prepare and check your truck before departure (cleaning and safety check),
– Load the truck and ensure the conformity of the load (weight, load distribution, securing),
– Collect administrative documents before departure (delivery notes, routes…),
– Deliver to customers at the agreed address (unloading only by the customer if using a forklift),
– Notify customers in case of delivery delays,
– Report any operating or conformity failures of the vehicle,
– Empty driver cards every week and truck cards every month. We are looking for a profile:
– with a good knowledge of customer delivery habits and a mastery of their delivery sector and optimization of their route,<\/p>\n
The position also requires:
– compliance with the highway code, safety regulations and driving\/break times,
– that you have FIMO\/FCO training and a heavy truck (PL) and\/or articulated truck (SPL) license for the transport of +3.5t,
– that you hold a driver qualification card and that you also ensure compliance with the wearing of PPE,
– CACES 3 would be a plus for the position.<\/p>\n
