What will you be doing?
- In the role of hooklift driver, you are responsible for the transport of various containers with different contents.
- You load containers with the hooklift
- You secure all containers and ensure a safe working environment
- You drive longer routes to customers in the region
- You exchange full and empty containers
For this national position, there are various possibilities regarding working hours:
- Day shift: You start and end your trip from the depot every day and simply sleep comfortably at home.
- Shift work: You drive alternately at night and during the day.
- Overnight stays: You start on Monday, stay overnight in the truck, and return to the depot on Friday.
What do you bring?
- A CE driving license with a valid code 95 and a driver’s card
- Experience with a Hooklift is a plus
- Driving experience with a drawbar trailer, A-frame or dolly is useful, but we can also teach you!
- Love for the driving profession and the willingness to learn
- You are physically fit and have no difficulty with physical work
Team and location:
As a hooklift truck driver (national), you will work from our main location in Eindhoven. From here, you will drive a number of long national routes, sometimes also short trips abroad. The hooklift team is the largest we have within Van Happen Containers. From Eindhoven, all ‘Hookers’ (hooklift drivers) are led by Pascal (team leader) and his team. They ensure the most optimal and pleasant routes every day.
