Your mission: As an articulated truck driver, you will carry out the following tasks:<\/p>\n
Transport and control of goods
– Travel to suppliers or clients according to instructions provided by the administrative assistant or site manager
– Upon arrival, perform an initial check of the goods at the supplier or client
– Assess the dangerousness of transported materials and raise an alert in case of danger
– Inform the goods owner and the company in case of quality or quantity issues
– Safely drop off and pick up loaded skips\/bins of goods at suppliers or clients
– Complete and have transport slips, and possibly the skip\/bin placement voucher, signed by the client or supplier to confirm the movement
– Position the vehicle on the weighbridge upon return to weigh the skip\/bin and verify its quantity
– Report anomalies or errors to hierarchy<\/p>\n
Loading and unloading of goods
– Load materials into the skip\/bin using the auxiliary crane
– Load the skip\/bin in case of a removable skip\/bin, in compliance with safety rules
– Ensure proper loading of transported skips\/bins: use a net for volatile or bulky loads (refer to corresponding safety instruction), check that the load does not exceed height and width limits<\/p>\n
First-level vehicle maintenance To successfully carry out the duties of this position, we are looking for the following qualities:
– Holder of an EC driving license, you have the CACES R490 auxiliary crane certification as well as up-to-date FIMO\/FCO. Initial experience with an auxiliary crane is necessary.<\/p>\n
Regarding soft skills, the client is looking for a person with good interpersonal skills, who is rigorous and has a sense of initiative.<\/p>\n
Additional information:
– Day shifts: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
– Hourly rate: EUR 12.62 gross per hour, daily meal allowance<\/p>\n
