\n Manpower CHINON is looking for a Heavy Truck Driver and an Articulated Truck Driver – M\/F specialized in public works on behalf of its client – Temporary work offer, for a temporary assignment with a duration to be defined. The position is based in 37140, France. Approximate duration of several months guaranteed. In this position, you will be required to:
– Drive a 6*4 truck or dump truck.
– Carry out earthmoving work.
– Transport quarry materials.
– Respect safety instructions on site.
– Check the daily condition of the vehicle.
– Perform load checks.
– Ensure basic maintenance of the equipment.
– Optimize routes for greater efficiency.<\/p>\n

– Prepare the truck before departure (cleaning, washing, verification),
– Load the truck, or ensure its proper execution, ensure the conformity of the load (weight, distribution of the load, compliance with regulations for the transport of dangerous goods),
– Uncover\/re-cover the trailer and\/or semi-trailer,
– Control the unloading,
– Fill out administrative documents: delivery slips, invoices, customs formalities,
– Keep the logbook up to date,
– Ensure the maintenance of the truck: oil change, lubrication and have the vehicle’s condition checked (servicing, technical inspection),
– Report any operating or conformity failures of the vehicle.
To be an articulated truck driver, you must:
– Know the safety rules and respect the highway code,
– Know how to drive a vehicle with maximum energy savings,
– Use on-board electronic devices: satellite tracking, GPS, on-board computer?
– Know how to manage your time, plan your route, respect a schedule.
You must hold a C or E license.
