The position is based in Sabl\u00e9 sur Sarthe. <\/p>\n
Temporary position to be filled<\/p>\n
We are recruiting a heavy truck driver \/ articulated truck driver to join a team dedicated to public works. You will be responsible for driving heavy and articulated trucks for the transport of materials and the supply of public works sites. <\/p>\n
Your main missions: <\/p>\n
– Execute transports, driving heavy and articulated trucks<\/p>\n
– Load, unload, and secure transported goods in accordance with regulations <\/p>\n
– Monitor and participate in the maintenance of the assigned vehicle<\/p>\n
– Take into account all dangers on a construction site<\/p>\n
– Monitor driving time. <\/p>\n
You work Monday to Friday with flexible hours. 35-hour weekly basis.<\/p>\n
Overnight stays during the week depending on the site. Profile sought: <\/p>\n
– Hold:
a Category C and\/or E driving license
a Driver Qualification Card (CQC), effective from September 10, 2009 (EC Regulation No. 1360 – 2002)
a certificate of initial minimum mandatory training (FIMO) or a certificate of mandatory continuous safety training (FCOS), less than 5
years old
a dangerous goods transport training certificate (ADR) as provided by the decree of May 29, 2009<\/p>\n
– Possess the physical aptitudes required for heavy goods vehicle driving in accordance with the decree of December 21, 2005<\/p>\n
– Be able to work seated permanently<\/p>\n
– Potentially withstand whole-body vibrations<\/p>\n
– Work variable hours<\/p>\n
– Be available for multi-day trips<\/p>\n
– Occasionally perform handling tasks<\/p>\n
– Not consume products that impair alertness<\/p>\n
– Have a sense of safety<\/p>\n
– Be able to work alone<\/p>\n
– Have at least 1 year of experience in a position requiring heavy goods vehicle driving on construction sites. <\/p>\n
