Manpower PAMIERS is looking for its client, a player in the transport sector, a Heavy and Articulated Truck Driver with crane operator certificate (M\/F). As with a heavy truck driver, their role is not limited to driving a vehicle. They are also responsible for:
\n
\n– preparing the truck before departure (cleaning, washing, checking),
\n
\n– loading the truck, or ensuring its proper execution, verifying the conformity of the load (weight, load distribution, compliance with regulations for the transport of dangerous goods),
\n
\n– tarping\/untarping the trailer and\/or semi-trailer,
\n
\n– supervising unloading,
\n
\n– completing administrative documents: delivery notes, invoices, customs formalities,
\n
\n– keeping the logbook up to date,
\n
\nTo be an articulated truck driver, you must:
\n
\n– know safety rules and respect the highway code,
\n
\n– know how to drive a vehicle with maximum fuel efficiency,
\n
\n– use on-board electronic devices: satellite tracking, GPS, on-board computer?
\n
\n– know how to manage your time, plan your route, respect a schedule.
\n
\n– have up-to-date licenses
\n
