Main tasks<\/p>\n
The heavy goods vehicle (HGV) \/ large goods vehicle (LGV) driver in distribution ensures the delivery and collection of goods from customers, in compliance with traffic regulations, safety instructions and company procedures.<\/p>\n
Main activities:<\/p>\n
Prepare the vehicle before departure (technical checks, fluid levels, general condition)<\/p>\n
Load\/unload goods, check conformity and complete transport documents<\/p>\n
Distribute products to customers (professionals or individuals) according to the planned route<\/p>\n
Respect delivery deadlines and ensure quality customer service<\/p>\n
Ensure the safety of transported goods and their integrity<\/p>\n
Use appropriate handling equipment (pallet truck, tail lift, etc.)<\/p>\n
Report any anomalies or incidents to operations (delays, damage, customer problems)<\/p>\n
Comply with social regulations (driving and rest times) and traffic regulations
Valid HGV\/LGV license (Category C) + initial and ongoing professional development qualification (FIMO\/FCO) in good standing<\/p>\n
Proficiency in rational and safe driving of a heavy goods vehicle<\/p>\n
Knowledge of regulations for road transport of goods<\/p>\n
Know how to use a tail lift, a pallet truck, and perform safe handling procedures<\/p>\n
Reading and filling out transport documents Mandatory HGV\/LGV license (Category C) + initial and ongoing professional development qualification (FIMO\/FCO) + driver card<\/p>\n
Experience in HGV\/LGV driving and distribution preferred (ideally 1 to 2 years)<\/p>\n
