We are looking for a truck driver for our client company for Posti’s general cargo and parcel transports in the Pirkanmaa area. The work is a diverse whole, where tasks are carried out both with a truck and, if necessary, with a van. A C driving license is required for the position. The work is scheduled to start in the first half of May.
Job description
In this job, you will handle Posti’s transports, which consist of both the distribution and collection of smaller packages and general cargo transports. The goods to be transported vary from light shipments to palletized general cargo.
Job duties include:
-Distribution and collection by truck or van
-General cargo transports by truck (pallet loads and larger deliveries)
-The base location is in Pirkanmaa. Working hours are mainly on weekdays, with morning or evening shifts. Weekend shifts are also available. The driver’s wishes are taken into account in the work shift planning as far as possible.<\/p>\n
Requirements
-Valid C driving license (mandatory)
-Professional competence card
-Precise and careful work approach

-Active and independent working style
-Previous experience in the transport industry is considered an advantage

Nature of the employment relationship
This is an on-call job (zero-hour contract). In practice, hours are available according to seasons and resource needs, and after orientation, it is possible to work very full hours during the summer season. In addition, there may also be gig work opportunities, for example, alongside studies in the fall.
Please note that the position may not be suitable if you are looking for a completely certain and fixed full-time number of hours throughout the year.
