What will you do?
We are looking for an experienced truck driver! Do you already have several years of driving experience as a C or CE driver? And are you ready for a new challenge? Then this could very well be your next step. For our client, we are looking for a car transport driver.
The organization you will be working for provides assistance with road accidents. They arrive on site to tow away cars. When a report comes in, you and your colleagues ensure that you are on site as quickly as possible to remove the damaged cars so that the road can be reopened. One day it’s quiet and you receive hardly any reports, the next day you race from one report to another. In short: no two days are the same!
During this work, you will be present at serious accidents. It is therefore important that you are stress-resistant and can remain calm in a hectic environment, but it is also sometimes necessary to reassure victims. A bit of empathy therefore comes in handy!
Where will you work?
The company you will be working for is a family business that has existed for almost 100 years. Because it concerns emergency services, they are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which means that flexibility is required from all colleagues: even with accidents that happen at night, it is important that you can be on location quickly. The location is in Tilburg. Here is the office and all vehicles are stored, but there is also a space where you can go if there are no reports. Night shift? There are beds where you can sleep between calls!
