You support the driver with loading and unloading roll containers and pallets and drive along on various routes throughout the Netherlands. This way, you learn how our logistics work, how to drive safely, and how to collaborate with customers and colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, you will follow your C and\/or CE training, with the goal of obtaining your CE driving license within 6 months. The training is fully paid for by PostNL, and the time you spend on your training will be paid.<\/p>\n<p>As soon as you obtain your driving license, you will get behind the wheel of your own PostNL truck. You will mainly drive routes between our sorting centers and major customers: longer distances, few stops, and well-organized work. You will receive your schedule every Thursday, so you know exactly what to expect.<\/p>\n<p><b>What do you bring?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You are motivated to become a driver and eager to learn. You are a good driver, proactive, and appreciate a well-organized workday.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a valid Dutch driving license B (C\/CE license is not required).<\/li>\n<li>You are proficient in the Dutch language.<\/li>\n<li>You are available to work in a rotating pattern (early, day, late, night). If you wish, you can also work on Sundays or public holidays (not mandatory).<\/li>\n<li>You are proactive and enjoy working independently.<\/li>\n<li>You are physically capable of loading and unloading roll containers and pallets.<\/li>\n<li>You have your own transport to the workplace.<\/li>\n<li>You are reliable and meticulous: keeping appointments is a matter of course for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What do we offer you?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You start with a 12-month contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract upon good performance. A condition is that you obtain your CE driving license within 6 months.<\/li>\n<li>The <b>CE driving license + Code 95 fully paid<\/b> by PostNL. Our driver coach will gladly tell you more about the associated conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Employment conditions according to the PostNL collective labor agreement, including a 20-40% surcharge for evening, night, and Saturday shifts, and a 100% surcharge on Sundays and public holidays. This surcharge averages \u20ac300 per month but can go up to \u20ac1,000.<\/li>\n<li>Payment for waiting time.<\/li>\n<li>Free Code 95 refresher training.<\/li>\n<li>5 weeks of vacation and 8% holiday pay.<\/li>\n<li>Travel expenses and smartphone allowance.<\/li>\n<li>Pension accrual from 18 years of age.<\/li>\n<li>Extra hours worked will be paid out.
