Temporary summer truck driver for Biltema Logistics!<\/p>\n
Biltema Logistics is a logistics company with around 600 employees whose main task is to store and supply Biltema’s department stores with goods. Biltema Logistics has 6 warehouses that send goods to all Biltema department stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Since 2007, Biltema Logistics has experienced strong growth, making us one of Halland’s largest employers.<\/p>\n
We are now looking for a temporary summer truck driver to strengthen our internal transport department during the summer!<\/p>\n
About the role<\/p>\n
As a truck driver at Biltema Logistics, you have overall responsibility for assigned transports between our central warehouses, suppliers, and stores. You work closely with transport coordinators, warehouse operations, and receiving stores to ensure high delivery precision and good service. <\/p>\n
The work is always performed in accordance with applicable traffic and commercial transport legislation, driving and rest time regulations, as well as Biltema Logistics’ routines and quality requirements. The role involves both independent responsibility and close cooperation with other functions. <\/p>\n
Your duties include, among other things: <\/p>\n

Distribution driving from central warehouse to store according to established driving schedules<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Transfer driving between warehouses<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
To some extent, container\/chassis driving<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Loading and unloading at warehouses and in stores <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Handling of transport documents and digital reporting <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You are responsible for your own vehicle, which includes daily inspection of the vehicle and responsibility for the careful maintenance and handling of the equipment <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Reporting of deviations, damages, or operational disruptions <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Ongoing dialogue with transport management for efficient planning and capacity utilization <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Professional interaction with store staff and other recipients <\/p>\n
Practical information<\/p>\n
Introduction for truck driving is planned for week 25 and includes one week of training where you ride along with a regular driver. Planned driving weeks are weeks 25-29.<\/p>\n
After the driving period, there is an opportunity for continued work in a combined role as a warehouse worker and truck driver if needed. The possibility for this combined role as a truck driver and warehouse employee is weeks 23-24 & 30-33.<\/p>\n
For those interested in the combined position, there is an opportunity to start work one week earlier for introduction and training in warehouse work.<\/p>\n
